"The collection contains materials related to Jordy Jones’ personal and political life, including papers, t-shirts, news clippings, publications, artifacts, and photographs. Papers include committee materials for the Transgender Civil Rights Implementation Task Force, which was successful in passing a plan to cover health benefits for transgender city employees, as well as materials from the San Francisco Human Rights Commission and the Transgender Political Caucus. There are also a number of fliers designed by Jones or pertaining to events he attended, published and unpublished writings, and his papers from graduate and undergraduate study. His multimedia art is represented by various audio tapes as well as sculptural pieces, including T Ball (a sculpture made of testosterone syringes), clothing, signs, posters, modified food labels, and materials concerning exhibits in which Jones participated. A large red scrapbook includes photographs and clippings; the scrapbook documents Jones' family, friends, and life."
